Independent Commission of Inquiry on Ukraine presents first written report to UN General Assembly

Based on investigation into events in the Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkiv and Chernihiv region the Independent Commission of Inquiry on Ukraine "found reasonable grounds to conclude that an array of war crimes, violations of human rights and international humanitarian law have been committed in Ukraine." The Chair of the Commission, Erik Møse stated: "The Impact of these violations on the civilian population in Ukraine is immense. The loss of lives is the thousands. The destruction of infrastructure is devasting".
