RECORDING, VERIFYING & INVESTIGATING INCIDENTS IN MYANMAR
Myanmar Witness is a project to independently collect, preserve, process, verify, investigate and review incidents of possible interferences with human rights.
The CIR is running the project in close partnership with a network of civil society actors from Myanmar and the region.
We accept social media, photos, videos, text, audio, and many others (e.g. DropBox) from anyone via our submissions form.
All data is independently verified, hashed, and kept safely and securely.
Safeguarding the identity of witnesses and those providing data will be of utmost importance.
Myanmar Witness will be a resource available to journalists seeking to investigate possible interferences of human rights. We welcome submissions or inquiries from journalists and media organisations.

The Myanmar Witness project is funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.
