Russia captures Mariupol

On 17 May, after two months of gruesome fighting, Mariupol falls into Russian hands following the Ukrainian Azov's regiments surenders at the Azovtal steal plant. A total of 1,730 Ukrainian forces laid down their arms in Mariupol.
