Russia capture Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant

Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant has been a focul point of tension throught Russia's invasion of Ukraine, particularly between the international community and Russia, over concerns in its ability to function safely in a conflict zone. On 3 March, Russian forces took control of the power plant. Rafael Grossi, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency [IAEA], expressed grave concerns about the physical integrity of the plant.

For months, claim and counter-claim were made around the presence of Russian military equipment at the NPP. CIR investigators revealed verified, visual evidence showing Russian forces present around the NPP. Read Eyes on Russia's report below for more information.
